"Exo Engineering are a key partner in the Catchment to Coast Project, part of the DEFRA’s Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme. Their innovative, Nature Inclusive Designs both protect the coastline from erosion and provide habitats for important species in the region. Their expertise in habitat provision, licencing, and ability to tailor bespoke designs to our sites with a quick turnaround time, has been invaluable in helping us meet the aims of the project. Thanks to Exo Engineering, the Catchment to Coast Project has seen world-first nature inclusive concepts installed on our coasts and we are excited to monitor the impact on local biodiversity in the years to come."

“Exo Engineering have fabricated and delivered exceptional GeoBlock® Eco armour units for the Newlyn Tidal R&D project where all parties, including Kier, the Environment Agency and Atkins, have been very impressed with the quality of finish of the units. They provided excellent communication throughout the project even during the preconstruction stages in 2021 / 2022. All project parties are very impressed with their GeoBlock® and Greening the Grey® technology to enhance and create new marine habitats and ecology. The units demonstrated very early signs of ‘greening’ and have continued to flourish since installation back in November 2022. Overall a very exceptional service from Exo Engineering and would highly recommend.”

“We are delighted to host Exo Engineering's subtidal pilot deployment which will provide valuable real-world data on their innovative scour protection which aims to benefit biodiversity. This project highlights META’s pre-consented test sites can be used for a wide variety of testing activities, not just energy convertors, but innovative components designed for the offshore renewables sector as well.”

“We are excited to participate in a pilot project in the Dutch North Sea to facilitate research on these specially designed artificial reefs. We look forward to returning next year to assess the biodiversity gains and species settlement. The results of this pilot project can enhance future nature-inclusive design decisions for offshore wind farms and other offshore energy infrastructure in the North Sea and beyond”.
